What is the Carnival of the Animals tour?

Following the huge success of our 2015 BBC Ten Pieces Tour we shall be touring schools again this year with The Carnival of the Animals.

The Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saens is one of the most well known pieces of music ever composed. Made up of 14 short movements each representing an animal the music was composed as a music joke. It is a well known piece for children and is not only useful for developing listening skills but also works well when teaching music and movement. The posters (available for purchase online) support active listening by giving visual clues to features in the music. These posters have been uniquely designed for Kidenza and are not available for purchase anywhere else.

After the success of last years BBC Ten Pieces tour this has meant that we are able to double the size of the tour from 9 days to 18 and we wont only be in Kent. We already have dates booked in Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex and Surrey. See our calendar for further details for a host school near to you.
