We hope you are managing to stay well in this awful crisis.
These truly are unprecedented times and unfortunately our summer concert tour will have to be postponed until further notice. Like all of those in the arts sector we have been hit hard and have taken the decision to hibernate until such time that it is safe for us to resume what we do best – inspire, educate and entertain thousands of children with our orchestral concerts.
We fully intend to reschedule all our concerts and will post details as soon as we know more.
Whilst we hibernate we will be thinking and planning as this situation continues to evolve. If there is anything you think we can help with do let us know.
Best wishes and stay safe,
Kidenza
Ten Pieces Trailblazers focuses on composers and works that have changed the way we think of classical and orchestral music – how it can be made, what it can sound like and who can create it. Our Trailblazer concerts have been created as a fun and interactive experience, targeted at the relevant age groups in the audience.
Join us on an exploration of some music made for Film and Television and look closer into musical influences from across the globe. Amongst our ten pieces, you might like to teach your class about Delia Derbyshire, the pioneer behind the Doctor Who theme tune, or perform a brand-new piece of music written for Ten Pieces (and you!)
