An Introduction to the Orchestra

Our orchestra will be performing 3 concerts at Bennett Memorial School for their pupils and for local primary school pupils.

The cost per ticket is £3 and there are currently 750 tickets available, one free teacher ticket will be allocated per 10 students. Tickets will be allocated on a first- come-first-served basis and there is no limit to the number of tickets you can book.

William Tell Storm and Overture
Song – a sea shanty – referencing the instruments of the orchestra and for all to join in with
Hall of The Mountain King Grieg
Juba Dance BBC Ten pieces Florence Price
Pirates of the Caribbean Medley
Hoe-Down Copland
Most of these pieces are either BBC Ten Pieces or pieces suggested in the new model music curriculum. The concert will last one hour and is suitable for all year groups.
