Claire studied piano and clarinet to grade 8 and enjoyed many years with the Bury Youth Orchestra with whom she toured France.

Aged 18, Claire moved to London to study nursing at Kings College and then Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children whilst continuing to study piano privately with Timothy Barratt, professor at the Royal Academy of Music. She worked as a nurse for 16 years before deciding to pursue her passion for music. In 1998 she established Jo Jingles in West Kent, offering music and movement classes for pre-school children.

In 2004 Claire produced her first concert, Peter and The Wolf, performed by Tonbridge Philharmonic Orchestra. The concert was a sell out and Claire was amazed at how much the children were mesmerized by the instruments that they had been learning about. Five years later and after lots of planning and researching Claire launched Kidenza with their debut concert featuring The Carnival of the Animals.

Claire has three children and lives in Tonbridge. As well as dedicating her time to nurturing Kidenza, she also teaches the piano.
